This little game is believed to be the only board game of Maori origin.

It is a game for two players.

Start the game with the marbles as shown in the photo.

​

Take turns to move one of your marbles. The aim of the game is to manipulate your marbles into a position, which prevents your opponent from moving any of their marbles, thereby losing the game.

The game is suitable for anybody over the age of 5.

It has small marbles, which could be a choking hazard, so please ensure all players are supervised.

No solution is provided, you have to work it out.

  Please not, the shape of the board may be different. The   current items are on a square board. It makes no difference to the way the game is played
